Goody bags/Welcome gifts

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Chair shall attend all meetings of the Meeting/Convention Committee and keep the Convention Chair advised of all progress/problems.
  • A welcome gift is sometimes provided by clubs to attendees per hotel room.
  • Ideally the bags should contain at least one pad of paper and pen/pencil unless provided by hotel.
  • Solicit donations of bags and "goodies" for each attendee
  • Send Thank You letters to all donors.
  • Arrange for storage of the items received.
  • Assemble bags and transport to the event.
  • Compile a list of donors for inclusion in the program booklet and submit to the Program Booklet Chair one month prior to your event.
  • Submit expenses if necessary for reimbursement by deadline.
  • File final report by deadline set by Convention Chair.
